taufik is the sgp idol. yay. but it was expected as taufik is always in the top few in almost every specs while sly, erm, scraped thru every round. (sly fans, dun kill me)
anyway, my dad was voting last night (for taufik). woah. it's a BIG thing when my dad voted. cos he's really not those kind who's into this kind of "nonsense". and somemore, he was asking me to vote for taufik too (which i gladly did).
and there was twice when the lines are jammed and i cld not send out sms (normal sms, not sms for voting). one time was aft the phone lines are open. another was aft the results were announced. ok, i've never experienced jammed lines for sms before...
speaking of sms, it brings me to my nxt topic. MY HANDPHONE. i think everyone who heard me having a conversation on my hp for the past 2wks or so will know. my hp conked out. just right aft o's, on the 20th nov 2004, my radio went dead. yes, it gave up on me after i subjected it to 12hr/day, 7days a week of work. then i cannot adjust the volume of ringtones, etc. so now volume 1-5 all sound the same. and worse still, my phone seem to be on loudspeaker everytime i'm talking on the phone. (though it isn't). i did a test ytd and found out tt when i speak on the phone (which was supposedly at the softest vol), wadever the other party was saying can still be heard from 3m away. 3 METRES!! powerful phone.
so i plead to everyone, dun call me on my phone, a sms will do. (unless u are the cruel kind who likes to subject me to public embarrassment. but even then, pls dun do tt.)
imagine sitting at the back of a bus, and u can hear the whole conversation btwn someone sitting right in front of the bus and the person at the other end of the line. yikes.
