my work pass for sph
1st day at the work desk. pretty fun. pple there are nice, and friendly.
went in for briefing. got attached to tech section.
hopefully will have some fun techie gadget for me to play soon.
aft lunch, get some help for my com and went to help in the infoline. im now a little traumatised hearing phone ringing now. but then, i really get to hear loads of stuff, some random stuff. some pretty funny. haha.
then, i got sent to my very 1st assignment...
my press tag for the ebay event. (i edited out the exact subsidary im working for.)
ebay 2nd bday celebration party at the balcony (at heeren)! and im there alone. mentor's not there. yikes.
but it was fun. the PR exec was friendly and i made a friend with another journalist who was my snr. yea, cos we're the only 2 who were punctual at 5.30pm.
so we sat there, drank, ate, talked to the ebay team.
there was this drink with a little alcohol (i think) tt's in the 4 colours of ebay. and we're supposed to drink 4 shots (1 colour each). i got away with 1 shot (and luckily, not drunk).
the event started close to 1hr late. sheeeeeesh. haha, but the balcony is quite a nice place to be.
there's attractive perks going to the party man. heh, but i'll offer them to mentor. yep.
work is getting exciting!
