exactly 1 yr ago, i began my really fun internship. no kidding, i love that 1 month of working and stuffing myself with xmas food
got quite busy these few days with reformatting my whole com system. my com got infected with a 3GB spyware which can't seem to be weeded out by my multiple anti-spyware prog. now i realised why my com was so damn slow all the time.
now im banging my head on the table as i realised my new com dun have a dvd drive while my old com had one and i din take out the drive frm my old com. (argh, no more hitman blood money!) argh, the rag and bone man made a profit man. 2 working drives leh. siao.
anw, i had my mianxian date and i have a job, which needs me to have PURRFECT ENGRISH, no, i mean, perfect english, with no crude words. i think it's going to be quite tough for someone like me who says "shat" in almost every sentence (and shat is not even a proper word!) and my grammatically incorrect phrases (think "mices"). oh well, i guess i just need to be more conscious of what i speak from now on.
while i was installing my printer just now, i saw "wish upon a star" on chn5. that's the good thing abt having the com outside i guess. i can entertain myself quite easily. i think it's a crappy show. it's just a blatant and not to mention, somewhat desperate, attempt to throw the sg idols contestants back into the limelight aft the whole sg idol craze is over. or maybe the show is produced mainly to publicised the new albums by the 2 sg idols. (and the rest of the content of the show are just there to fill up the rest of the airtime) i'm sick of seeing them alr. can they not hog anymore airtime, esp primetime somemore?
same goes to proj superstar. BIG YAWN. and i dun understand how can the people frm proj superstar get into the top20 of star awards? kelvin tan wasnt acting in all those shows to begin with! he was just singing his songs and using the shows to publicise his album! but then i wun be surprised if he got top10. he's lucky to have fervent fans who are willing to make so many calls. (but if you ask me, i think it's better that they donate the money to other buskers along the streets who are not able to make it big like kelvin tan).
clarification: i dun hate the contestants of such shows. but rather, i dislike the way their management are promoting them and their songs through constant bombardment on the various telly shows. (eg, kelvin tan appeared in 3 or 4 drama serials for a few scenes each just to sing his songs)
another proj superstar trivia, there was a contestant in this season whose chinese name is pronounced exactly the same way as mine. she has really low voice, even lower than mine. and she's booted out last wk.
