completed marking (and re-marking aft calibration) 14 sets of assignments and tests in 3.5 days. 2 sets of eng essays to go. i'm quite proud of my efficiency and discipline to sit through abt 35 scripts per set w/o tearing their papers into shreds.
had a written test for scholarship. haven been writing expository essays since 2nd nov, so i was a little rusty when it came down to writing that essay. i've learnt sth frm the test: the difference between hatred and contempt. complicated relationship between tt 2 words lah. anw, i'll know whether i screwed it up next wk.
anw, wkend at uni open houses. okay, nth much to talk abt. it's just well, open houses. just a certain dean of a certain sch in a certain uni irritated me during his talks. and i'm sure it wasn't just me cos throughout that 1hr of talk, groups of people were leaving the venue. i concluded that he wasnt sure of the purpose of the talk (or maybe his perceived purpose is different from mine). for goodness sake, tell me abt the courses! the course details!
oh and i made pasta. i thought it was below average. but people said it was nice. hmm. okay, maybe i'm very critical to my own cooking.
1 week hol for me to rest before i deal with those kids again.
