end of markings. yay

i'm officially unemployed, well, since 25th after meet the parents session.
MTP was really quite an eye-opening experience for me. i was talking to many "new-age parents" who believe in giving their (mainly) 13-yr-old kids freedom and total trust. i'm not too sure whether they're trying to make their kids more responsible (so they claimed) or they're just so caught up in their own work that they don't have enough time for supervision.
i still think many 13-yr-olds lack the maturity and self-discipine when it comes to studies, esp when there's a sudden surge in workload. many of them are not able to take it and end up being serious procrastinators who are constanly trying to push the deadlines. hypothesis based on a sample size of close to 200 girls.
6 years ago, if my teachers made the same comments that i made during MTP, i would have probably gotten a serious verbal spanking plus constant nagging plus many many other horrible things that i don't even dare to think of. enough said.

anw, one fine day when i was lunching in the canteen with ade, we spotted shunman who came back for orange bowl and iced tea. still looking good as ever. haha, then i realised it's been a long time since i saw the red badge seniors. gee, miss them man.

back to the main point of me being unemployed. i'm not really used to having nothing to do after 6 whole months of madcap marking. need to find some things to do...
